2.3.1 Selection of the power supply unit
The power supply for the Checkbox must fulfill the following
requirements:
– voltage range: 24 V ± 15 %
– Power rating: 18 W with load-free outputs
– no current consumption at the outputs
In order to comply with the EMC limits, the Checkbox is
equipped with a filter for the operating voltage. Use a
separate power unit for the Checkbox. Only in this way can
the fitted filter be effective.
Warning
• Use only power sources which guarantee reliable
electrical isolation of the operating voltage as per
IEC/EN 60204-1. Observe also the general requirements
for PELV power circuits as per IEC/EN 60204-1.
