Latch settings
A buffer memory (latch) can be used to record the position value of the encoder when an external signal
(latch result) occurs. This buffer memory can be read out during the next PLC cycle.
The external signal is connected to the latch input. On the CECC-S, this is the fourth input on the I/O
interface (X2.3).
