Always be aware of what is behind the mower before driving in reverse.
Always stop the mower before making a sharp turn.
Do not mow in reverse unless it is absolutely necessary. Always look back before and when
driving in reverse.
Rapid movement of the lap bars should be avoided as the electrical system components may
be damaged.
To accelerate the mower, increase the distance between the lap bars and the neutral position.
The farther you push the lap bars from the neutral position, the faster the mower travels
forward. The farther you pull the lap bars from the neutral position, the faster the mower
travels backward.
7.5 Using the Cutting Deck
7.5.1 Precautions
1. When using the mower for the first time, select a flat ground, and mow the lawn slowly.
2. Select a work mode based on the size and shape of the lawn, taking trees, fences, buildings, and
other obstacles into consideration.
3. The recommended grass height before mowing is 50–80 mm (1.97–3.15 inches). Do not cut
more than 1/3 of the grass height or more than 25 mm (0.98 inches) once. When the grass is
tall, raise the cutting deck and cut the grass multiple times to avoid poor discharge of grass
clippings.
4. To make the lawn more beautiful, mow the lawn in the afternoon or evening when the humidity
is lower.
7.5.2 Adjusting the Cutting Deck Height
Do not adjust the blades after the mower is powered on. The mower blades cannot be seen and
are located very close to the deck housing. Fingers and toes can be cut off instantly when
