8.4 Disassembling the Lithium-ion Batteries
1. Turn over the seat to the limit.
2. Disconnect the seat sensor harness, loosen the two bolts on the battery compartment cover with
a wrench, and remove the battery compartment cover.
3. Ensure that all batteries are turned off, that is, the battery power switches are in the pop-up
position.
4. Disconnect all the battery harnesses.
5. Take all batteries out of the battery compartment at an angle of 25 degrees.
Do not take apart the batteries. Exposure of the inner structure can damage the battery and
cause personal injury.
Before maintaining the mower, press the start/stop button to power off the mower, and ensure
that the lithium-ion batteries are disconnected.
8.5 Installing the Lithium-ion Batteries
1. Put the batteries into the battery compartment under the seat.
2. Connect the battery harnesses.
3. Press the battery power switches to turn on all the batteries.
4. Close the battery compartment cover, and use a wrench to tighten the screws with a torque of
18–25 N·m.
5. Connect the seat sensor harness, and put the seat back.
Do not take apart the batteries. Exposure of the inner structure can damage the battery and
cause personal injury.
