Fully charge the batteries and maintain them when necessary.
Ensure that the tire pressure is higher than normal to prevent air leakage.
Store the mower in a well-ventilated, clean, and dry place, because the battery charger cannot be
used in a humid environment. Connect the battery charger to the charging port.
Keep the batteries fully charged. Prevent battery damages at a temperature below 0°C (32°F).
Plug the charger into the correct port. For details on using the charger and charging batteries,
refer to sections "Battery Charger", "Charging the Lithium-ion Batteries", and "Charging
suggestions" in chapter 8 "Electrical System Safety".
For details on maintaining the batteries, refer to section "Battery Maintenance" in this manual.
To maximize the battery lifespan, fully charge the batteries immediately after each use.
9.7 Before Using a Mower in Storage
Follow the procedure below before using a mower in storage:
Clean the mower, and remove the trash and dirt.
Tighten all loose bolts, and ensure that all pins are in place.
Mount all safety shields and covers, and check whether the safety precautions in this manual are
followed.
Inflate the front tires to 42 PSI and the rear tires to 22 PSI.
Connect the charger harness to the charging port to fully charge the batteries in accordance with
section "Charging the Lithium-ion Batteries" in chapter 8 "Electrical System Safety".
WARNING
Before operating the mower, always ensure that the seat base is bolted securely to prevent the
seat from moving or tilting when the mower tips over or rolls.
9.8 Battery Maintenance
WARNING
The batteries can only be replaced with batteries designated by FJD. Any other parts may
cause hazards or product damages.
