Before inspecting the underside of the cutting deck, press the start/stop button to power off the
mower, and ensure that the indicator is off and the blade switch cannot be accidentally turned on.
Clean the underside of the cutting deck with a stick or similar tool, and ensure that no part of the
body is close to the cutting deck.
Keep the battery compartment, cutting deck, and operator position clean of trash, grass clippings,
and other debris.
Keep the battery compartment, electric cabinet, cutting deck, and seat clean of dirt and debris.
Do not use water, solvents, hard cleaners, or abrasives.
Always wear protective eyewear when maintaining batteries, grinding mower blades, and cleaning
off accumulated debris. When the traction drive system is running, never attempt to make any
adjustment or servicing to the drive system, cutting deck, or any attachment of the mower.
Do not work under the mower or its attachment unless it is safely supported with jack stands.
Ensure that the mower is secure when it is raised and placed on the jack stands.
Do not touch the hot parts of the mower.
Tighten the nuts and bolts, especially the blade bolts. Keep the equipment in good working
conditions.
Do not damage the safety devices. Check whether they are functioning normally on a regular basis.
Do not clean the cutting deck while the mower is running. Press the start/stop button to power
off the mower and ensure that the blades have stopped before cleaning the cutting deck. Clean
the discharge area with a stick if it is blocked. Never use your hands.
Take care when inspecting the underside of the cutting deck as the blades are extremely sharp.
Wear gloves and take extra care during servicing.
Use only genuine FJD mower parts to ensure that original standards are maintained.
Always disconnect the batteries when transporting the mower. Keep it free of grass clippings,
leaves, and other debris.
