9 Start-up of the transmitter
9.1 Start-up settings
When starting up the transmitter for the first time, the following settings are required:
• language
• units of measurement
• time/date
These displays will only be indicated once when the transmitter is switched on for the first time.
9.2 Switching on
The available languages of the transmitter are displayed in the relevant language. Select a
language. Press ENTER.
The menus are displayed in the selected language.
Select the units of measurement to be used. Press ENTER.
Select whether the transmitter is used in the region of Canada or not. Press ENTER.
This display will only be indicated if IMPERIAL has been selected.
The current time is displayed. Select ok to confirm the time or new to set it. Press ENTER.
Select the character to be edited with key and .
Edit the selected character with key and .
Press ENTER.
The new time is displayed. Select ok to confirm the time or new to reset it. Press ENTER.
The current date is displayed. Select ok to confirm the date or new to set it. Press ENTER.
Select the character to be edited with key and .
Edit the selected character with key and . Press ENTER.
The new date is displayed. Select ok to confirm the date or new to reset it. Press ENTER.
As soon as the transmitter is connected to the power supply, it is displayed which transduc-
er has been detected at which channel.
Afterwards, the serial number of the transmitter is displayed for a short time.
It is not possible to enter any data while the serial number is displayed.
After switching on the transmitter, the main menu is displayed in the default language. The
language can be changed (see section 9.6).
