12.1 Safety Information
To avoid personal injury and/or material damage, make sure that transport
work is performed only by qualified personnel with suitable personal protective
equipment (PPE) and suitable tools.
 See chapter 2 Safety Information.
Danger of injury due to falling loads!
Falling of suspended loads can lead to severe injury or death.
 Never stand beneath suspended loads.
Danger of injury due to improper transport!
Improper transport can lead to severe injuries.
 Secure the ROTADISK Pneumatic Actuator against turning and
tipping.
 Attach slings to the ROTADISK Pneumatic Actuator correctly.
 See the following section 12.2.
Never lift the whole unit (ball valve and actuator) with one lifting
gear with the slings attached only to the pneumatic actuator!
 Observe all load securing regulations.
Danger of material damage due to improper transport!
Improper transport of the ROTADISK Pneumatic Actuators can cause damage.
 Observe the measures in the following sections.
