Direction of Flow and Orientation of the Probe
Install the meter with the ow direction indicator pointing in the direction of ow and centered on
the middle of the pipe. The rotational misalignment of the ow direction indicator must be less than 2
degrees.

NOTE! Some ow meters are shipped with the sensor elements that are oset (see Fig. 2.7).
Others are shipped with sensors that have equal length elements (see Fig. 2.8). The sensor
type supplied was selected at the factory to be the best suited for your application. Follow the
appropriate sensor orientation instructions.
