Using the FOXTEL iQ
Before calling FOXTEL for troubleshooting assistance,
please run through the following steps:
Check when
complete
What should I check? What do I do next?
Is the external power supply adapter lead from the
FOXTEL iQ connected to the power point and the
power turned on?
If not, connect the
power lead and turn
on the switch at the
power point
Is the FOXTEL iQ standby button green? If not, press the
standby button on
the FOXTEL iQ
Is the television on the A Channel? If yes, ensure you have
pressed the FOXTEL
button on the remote
control
Is the smartcard inserted correctly? Ensure the gold chip is
facing down and the
arrow on the top of
the smart card is facing
the FOXTEL iQ
Is the FOXTEL cable from the wallplate to the
FOXTEL iQ tightly secured?
If not, tighten the
FOXTEL cable to the
wallplate and
the FOXTEL iQ
Are the leads from the FOXTEL iQ to the TV
connected?
If not, connect the
leads
Try performing a ‘soft re-boot’ of the FOXTEL iQ. To
do this, press the reset button on the front panel of
the FOXTEL iQ, holding it down for four seconds.
Once this is complete,
press the standby
button on the FOXTEL iQ
