If thewarning/indicator lamps do notlight up in
theinstrument displayaround or belowfreezing
point, it is very likelythat thedischarged battery
has frozen.
In this case, observe thefollowing points:

The jumper cables/chargingcablesmustnot
comeintocontact with anyparts whichmay
move when theengine is running

Alwaysmakesurethat neither younor the
batteryiselectrostatically charged

Alwayskeep away from fire and open flames

When charging: only use abatterycharger
that has been tested and approvedbyFreight‐
liner Sprinter and read theoperating instruc‐
tions foryour chargerbeforecharging the
