Tilt thebenchseat forwards without engaging
it.

Pull thebenchseat backwards again using
release handle 2.
#
Tilt thebenchseat backwards slightlyand
pull it out of themounting shells.
#
To remove or storethe benchseat, place it
next to themounting shells and roll it towards
therear-end doors.
or
#
Liftthe benchseat out from theside to store
it.

It maybenecessaryfor thebenchseats in
front or behind to be removed.

To attachthe covers of themounting
shells: hold cover 3 suchthat retaininglug
1 is pointing towardsrear seat anchorage
2.

Insertcover 3 intorear seat anchorage 2
by pushing it downwardsatanangle and then
clip it to themounting shell.
#
Afterremoving therear benchseat, ensure
that therear benchseat can stand firmly and
nottip overwhen in storage.
Please note that themetallic seat supportinthe
vehicle floor will heat up during ajourneyifthe
rear seating has been removed.
Installing therear benchseat
Secureengagement of therear benchseat is
guaranteed only if youkeep theseat anchorages
clean and free of objects.

In vehicles registeredaspassenger vehicles,
observe themaximum permitted number of
seats.
#
Remove thecovers of themounting shells as
described under "Removing therear bench
seat".
#
Ensurethat thereare no objectsinthe seat
anchorages and mounting shells.
#
Position thebenchseat behind theinstalla‐
tion position.
#
Hold thebenchseat by thegrabhandles and
tilt it backwards.
#
Roll thebenchseat forwards on thelevel
plastic carriers.
#
Ensurethat therear legs of thebenchseat
areengaged.
#
Tilt thebenchseat forwards firmly until the
locks on thefront legs of thebenchseat
engageaudibly.
The locks on thefront legs of thebenchseat
will nowbelockedand thered indicator tabs
on thehousing of release handle 1 should
no longer be visible.

If thered indicator tabs on therelease handle
housing arevisible, thebenchseat is notcor‐
rectly engaged.
If thebenchseat is notcorrectlyengaged, you
can rectify this situation as follows:
#
Unlockthe benchseat again and tilt it for‐
wardsfirmlyuntil thelocks on thebenchseat
front legs engageaudibly.
#
Attach thecoversofthe mounting shells as
described under "Removing therear bench
seat".
