Operation
Taking out the memory card
Memorycard,
When taking out the card, always proceed syste matically as described
below, to avoid any loss o f your data.
Always wait until the data a ccess has been comp leted before taking
the c ard out of the slot.
If your reader has a s tatu s display, remove the card only once this has stopped ashing.

If your reader has a card interlock: Press
on the memory card (1).

The memory card is now released
and can be taken out.
Take the memory card out of the slot (2).
Displays on the machine

The displays appear on the front of the casing.
The displays available for your machine depend on which expansion stage you have selected.
Memory card reader status display
The display lights up continuously: A memory card has been inserted.
The display ashes: The memory card is being accessed.
The display rem ains unlit: There is no m emory card in the reader.

Do not disconnect the machine from the mains whilst in power-saving
mode, otherwise data may be lost.
The display lights up white: The machine is switched on.
The display ashes white: The mach ine is in p ower-saving mode. After switching
on at the on/off switch the machine switches on or reverts to the status it was
in before power-saving mode was initiated.
The display ashes yellow: The hard disk is being accessed.
The display remains unlit: The machine is not connected to the mains or is not ready for
operation. If the machine is ready for operation, it can be switched on at the on/off switch.
