The B IOS Setup includes the menu: Security which offers you various facilities for
protecting your data against unauth orise d access, e.g.:
• Preventing access to the syste m by unauthorised persons
• Preventing unauthorised person s calling up the BIOS Setup .
• Preventing unautho rised persons accessing the se ttings of mo dule s that have their own BIOS
• Protecting the machine against external switch-on commands
Permutations and combinations of these facilities are permissible.
