No mouse pointer displayed on the screen
Cause

The mouse is not correctly connected.
► Shut down your operating system in the
proper manner, for instance using

► Switch the device off.
► Check that the mouse cable is prop erly
connected to the system unit. If you use an
adapter or extension lead with the mouse
cable, check the connections.
► M ake sure that only one mouse is
connected.
► Switch the device on.
Disabled USB ports ► In the BIOS Setup, check whether th e USB
ports are Enab led (see the "BIOS Setup"
manual or the mainboard manu al
Time and/or date is n ot correct

Troubleshooting
Chip card inserted incorrectly. ► Check whethe r you have inserted your
SmartCard into the SmartCard reader the
right w ay with the chip facing upwards.
► Check wh
ether the SmartCard you are using
is suppo
rted. Your SmartCard must comply
with the
ISO s tandard 7816-1, -2, -3 and -4.
