The screw positions are different for non-accessible drives and accessible drives:
• sheet metal stamping 1 (in illustration: b) valid for accessible
drives (Multicard/Sm artCard reader).
• sheet metal stamping 2 (in illustration a) valid for non -acce ssible
drives (HDDn/SSDn, also in ad apter).
► Secure the dri ve with the scr
ews (a or b, depen ding on the type of drive).
► W hen installing a 3½ inch hard disk: Connect the cables to the drive.
Make sure the polarity is correct.
► Connect the other end of t
he cable to the corresponding USB port or SATA port of the mainboard.
► Fold the drive cage into the closed position again (see chapter "
Closing the drive cage", Page 47).
► Fit the casing cover ont
o the casing again (see chapter "
Reattaching the casing cover.", Page 36).
If necessary, you must
adjust the entry for the drive a ccordingly in the BIOS Setup.
