Installing and removing a board
You can install ad ditional modules in order to increase the performance of y our machine.
The number, position and arrangement of the board slots on the mainboard can be found in
the manual for the mainboard. Boards may already be installed on shipment.

Installing a board
Always install display adapte rs with an additional pow er supply in slot 6. Install
a second display adapter in slot 4. Th e numbering of the slots can be seen o n
the mainboard and from outside on t he rear wall of the casing.

► With long PCI boards, remove the upper part of the card holder at the front fan in
order to be able to click the board into place at the front fan during installation: Push
the locking lug on the upper, r emovable part of the card holder in the direction of
the arrow (1). Lift the card holder away from the fan (2).
