The casing
offers space for several accessible and non-accessible drives.
Accessibl
edrives:
•Alocatio
n for a 3½ inch or 2½ inch drive with an appropriate 3½ inch
adapter (
e.g. SmartCard or Multicard)
• A locat ion for a 5¼ inch drive
•Alocati
on for an UltraSlim drive
Non-accessible drives:
• Up to four hard disk drives depending on device variant an d con figuration level
•Oneloc
ation for an M.2 module on the mainboard
• Front I/O variant 1: One further location for an M.2 module on the front panel module
"Accessible drives" are e.g. DVD or CD ROM drives, into which a data
medium can be inserted from outside.
Examples of non-accessible drives are hard disk drives.
