Removing the heat sink
The s hape and position of the heat sink are device-dependent. The
approach is the same for all variants.
► Open the casing (see "
Open the casing", Page 43).
► R emove the ventilation duct (see "
Removing ventilati on duct", Page 47).

► U ndo the screws (1) on the heat sink.
► R emove the heat sink (2) from the casing.
You can now replace the processor (see "Repla cing the processor", Page 96).
Never operate the device without a heat sink! Before initial startup, install the heat
sink again in the same way as it was installed in the device before removal.
