Installing and removing a board
You can install additional modules in order to increase the perfo rmance of your machine.
The number, position and arrangement of th e board slots on the mainboard can be found in
the manua l for the mainboard. Boards may already be installed on shipment.

► Open the casing (see "Open the casing", Page 43).
► For long boards: Open the service door (see "
Open the service door", Page 45).
► Disconnect the cables connected to the board.

► Fold the board lock (1) upwards.
► Loosen the screw on the board (2), if one is fitted.
Boards in the PCI Express x16 slot a re also s ecure d at the bottom of the
slot with a locking latch (3). Push the latch to the side to release the card.
You can then remove the card as described below.
► Pull th
e slot cover out of the slot in the direction of the arrow (4).
► Place the board in suitable packaging.
