Inserting the SIM card
► Prepare for insertion of the SIM card, se e chapter "Preparing to remove c omponents", Page 10 6.
► Open the protective r ubber cover of the SIM ca rd slot.
Do not pull on the SIM card lock! The lock could break off otherwise. Always
slide the lock in th e direction of the arrow as shown.

► Slide the SIM card lock (a) in the
direction of the a rrow (1).
The clip (a) controls the pow er supply for
the UMT S module. The UMTS module is
switched off while the clip is open.
► Slide th e SIM card as shown into
slot (2) until it engages.
► Slide the SIM card lock (a) in the
direction of the a rrow (3).
► C lose the protective rubbe r cover of the SIM card slot.
► C om plete the i
nsertion process, see chapter "
Finishing component removal", Page 112.
