Setting up the port replicator
Select a suitable location for the port replicator before setting it up.
Follow the instructions below when doing so:
• Never place the port replicator on a soft surface (e.g. carpeting, upholstered furniture, bed).
This can block th e air vents of the note book and cause overheating and damage.
• Place the port replicator on a sta ble, flat and non-slip surface. Please note that the
port replicator’s rubber feet may mark certain types of surfa ce.
• Never place the port replicator and the mains adapter on a hea t-sensitive surface.
• Do not expose the port replicator to extreme environme ntal conditions.
Protect the port rep licator from dust, humidity and heat.
