Replacement routines
4.1.2 Opening or closing the hard disk drive cage
4.1.2.1 Opening the HDD cage
The following replacement routines require opening the HDD cage:
– Replacing fans
– Replacing the front panel cable
– Replacing the front USB module
– Replacing the power supply unit
– Replacing hard disk drives
– Replacing the processor
– Replacing the system board
– Replacing the Trusted Platform Module (TPM)
– Replacing the USB Flash Module (UFM)
Ê Shut down the server and disconnect the AC power cord from the system.
Ê Remove the side cover as described in section 4.1.1.1 on page 23.

Ê Loosen the knurled captive screw on the HDD cage.
