Figure 78: Latching the socket lever
Ê Lower the socket lever while making sure that the front edge of the load plate
slides under the shoulder screw cap (see circle) as the lever is lowered (1).
Ê Latch the socket lever under the load plate tab (2).
Ê Reapply a small amount of thermal paste to the surface of the processor.
Thermal paste part number: FSP:P304000003
I Ensure a thin and even distribution of thermal paste before
reinstalling the heat sink.
