HDD FAULT (in conjunction with a disk array controller)
● SAS server variant
– Does not light: no HDD error
– Lit: HDD Faulty or Rebuild Stopped (drive defective/needs
replacing, drive failed, drive deactivated by software or the
HDDmodule is not correctly inserted)
– Slow flashing: HDD Rebuild (the data is being restored after
changing a drive)
– Fast flashing: HDD Identify

– Does not light: no HDD error
– Lit: HDD Faulty or Rebuild Stopped (drive defective/needs
replacing, a rebuild process was stopped or the HDDmodule is
not correctly inserted)
– Slow flashing: HDD Rebuild (the data is being restored after
changing a drive)
– Fast flashing: HDD Identify
