Trusted Platform Module - TPM (device dependent)

To use the TPM, you must enable the TPM in the BIOS Setup before the software is
installed. The requirement for this is that you have assigned at least the supervisor
HDD password (see "
Secu rity functions", P age 56).
Enabling TPM
Requirement: You have assigned a supervisor HDD password (see "Securit y fu nction s", Page 56).
C all BIOS Setup and sele
ct the Security menu.
Mark the TPM S ecu rity Ch ip Setting eld and press the Enter key.
Select the entry Enabl
ed to enable the TPM
Once you have enabled the TPM the Clear Security Chip menu item appears.
You can clear the hold
er in the TPM using Clear Security Chip.WithEnabled,
all s ecret keys (e.g
. SRK - Stora ge R oot Keys, AIK - Attestation I dentity K eys
etc.) generated by
applications are deleted.

ving Changes option in the Exit men u.
Press the Ent er k ey a nd select Yes.

Disabling TPM
Requirement: You have assigned a supervisor HDD password (see "Securit y fu nction s", Page 56).
C all BIOS Setup and select the Security menu.
Mark the TPM S ecu rity Ch ip Setting eld and press the Enter key.
Select the entry Disabled to disable the TPM.
From the Exit menu, choose the option Exit Saving Changes.
Press the Ent er k ey a nd select Yes.
The Tab let PC is rebooted and the TPM is disabled.
