Using the Bluetooth Device
Bluetooth is integrated into the Wireless LAN module. The Bluetooth capa bilities are Bluetooth
Basic, EDR and Bluetooth Low Energy (BT v4.0) operational modes.
What is Bluetooth
Bluetooth technology is designed as a short -range wireless link between mobile de vices, such
as laptop computers, phones, printers, and cameras. Bluetooth technology is used to create
Personal Area Networks (PANs) between devices in short-range of each oth er.
To enable or disable either the wireless LAN or Bluetooth devices
individually, perform the following steps:
1. Go to the Modern Start screen and select Charms > S ettings >
Change PC Setting s > Wireless.
2. Under Wirele ss > Wireless Devices ,clickontheBluetooth switch to turn it on.
