ENERGY STAR Compliance

choosing a computer with the latest energy-saving technology, yo u’re

STAR is a joint program of the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency,
U.S. Department of Energy, Natural Resources Canada, and other
governments around the world he lping us save money while protecting
the environment through energy efficient products and practices. Wi th
energy costs and global w arming top-of-mind for consumers, Fujitsu is
committed to offering solutions that help consumers conserve energy
and improve the quality of our environment.
Sleep mode:
You will no tice that your computer is initially set so that the display turns off after 10 m inutes o f
user inactivity, and the computer goes into Sleep mode after 20 minutes of user inactivity. W hen
going into Sleep mode, the computer also reduces the speed of any active Ethernet network
links. To “wake” the computer from Sleep mode, press the Suspend/Resume Button.

Fujitsu EN ERG Y STAR qualified mobile PCs use about half as much e lectricity as standard
equipment – saving half in u tility costs. But more than that, ENERGY STAR also makes a difference
