Notes on vehicle safety
MITSUBISHI FUSO recommends
using appropriate parts only for each particular vehicle
model.
In many countries, parts that make extensive changes
to the vehicle can invalidate the general operating
permit. Specifically, this concerns parts which:
change the vehicle type approved in the general
operating permit
could endanger road users
could adversely affect noise levels
a Risk of accident and injury
The use of parts, assemblies or conversion parts
and accessories which have not been approved
may jeopardize the safety of the vehicle.
Before installing any attachments, special-purpose
bodies, equipment or carrying out any modifica-
tions to the basic vehicle and/or its assemblies,
you must read the relevant sections of the Owner’s
Handbook, as well as the operating and assembly
instructions issued by the manufacturer of the
accessories and items of optional equipment.
You could otherwise fail to recognize dangers,
which could result in injury to yourself or others.
Official acceptance by public testing bodies or
official approval does not rule out safety hazards.
i Additional information
Make absolutely sure that you comply with national
registration regulations as attachments, bodies,
equipment on or modifications to the vehicle will
change the vehicle type approved and may
invalidate the general operating permit.
