ONFIGURATION
Selecting <1> Configuration from the Functions for Port n menu allows the user to configure the protocol,
connection mode, line speed and addresses for the Ethernet, Serial, and Console ports.
A.2.1 Ethernet Port Configuration
Selecting Configuration for the Ethernet port leads to a set of screens that configure the on-board Ethernet
port. From the Port menu, type <E0> and press <Enter>. From the Functions for Port E0 menu select <1>
Configuration and press <Enter>. The default parameter settings for the port are shown in Figure A-5. The
only configurable parameters are Port Name, IP Routing and LAN Speed. Table A-2 describes the
parameters and options.
