Connect an 8 mm OD PTFE hose to the
exhaust outlet.
Connect the other end of this hose to the
laboratory fume extraction system.

Note: Small quantities of liquid solvent may
occasionally be expelled from the exhaust
hose.
Make sure the exhaust hose is free from
kinks, constrictions and U-bends (U-bends
could cause condensed solvent to gather
and block the exhaust line).
Feed systems only: Connect 6 mm OD
PTFE hoses to the inlet (bottom connector)
of the feed valve and to the rinse valve.

Find the length of hose required to reach the
bottom of the rinse solvent and product
solution containers and cut the respective
hoses to the required lengths. It is
acceptable for the hose length to be longer
than required, but care should be taken to
avoid cutting the hoses too short.
Attach the weights (supplied) by screwing
one onto the ends of each hose, the end of
the hose should protrude by one or two
millimetres from the end of the weight.
