I/O Connector Pinout
There are 3 inputs on the I/O connector which simulate END LINE, MARK and ENTER key
presses. Momentarily connecting the corresponding pin to pin 4 is equivalent to pressing the key on the
keypad:

If more that COM1 serial port is to be logged, COM2, COM3 and COM4 are presented on the
Power Connector.

Power Connector on console:
Some care needs to be exercised in the design of the external cables. The G859's COM1
connector's ground pin is internally connected to the ground on the power connector. If the external
cables also connect COM1 connector's ground to the power connectors ground, a loop will result. This
loop will appear asa shorted turn of copper wire to the EM-61. Depending on the cross section of this loop
