1.8 Disposal
1.8.1 Expected service life of the device and planned disposal
When used as intended and with regular service or corresponding maintenance by an authorised ser-
vice technician, the Mini-LAS 11R has a service life of many years. Statements about the expected ser-
vice life cannot be made and depend on the applications for the device.
1.8.2 Disposal of consumables
PTFE filters for the Mini-LAS 11-R are considered consumables. These PTFE filters, provided the dust
they were exposed to is free of contaminants, are disposed of in household or commercial waste.
If substances that are hazardous to health were knowingly or presumably collected with the dust in the
PTFE filter, the PTFE filter must be handled according to the respective contaminants. Pertinent infor-
mation on proper disposal is available from your specialised disposal firm.
