2.19 Device designation and serial number
The model designation and serial number are shown on the label on the underside of the device.
The serial number has eight characters. Example:
11R14014
 Model: “11” for series 11
 Hardware version: “R”
 Year of manufacture, two characters: “15”,
“16”, etc.
 Serial number of a model (three charac-
ters) in the year of manufacture: "027",
"028",...
2.20 Sample air discharge
On the sample air discharge located on the left side of the device, 1.2 litres of air which enters through
the sample air intake leaves the device per minute. The sample air discharge is needed for certain ac-
cessories to function correctly. One accessory that requires the sample air discharge is the isokinetic
duct probe with sample air return, model 1152. If the sample air discharge is blocked, the device will
shut down. The sample air discharge can also be used for leak testing.
