2.4.2 Meaning of the LEDs next to the card slot
There are two LEDs (1 and 2) to the left of the SD card slot and one LED (3) to the right of it.
LED 1 lights up green to indicate operational readiness and blue when the Bluetooth interface is used.
LED 2 lights up red when a firmware update is being installed.
LED 3 changes colour to indicate the charge level of the integrated battery.
The colours of this LED mean: Green - On battery without power supply
- Flashing at battery charge level < 10%
Red - On power supply, battery is being charged
After the charging process, LED 3 lights up green when the battery is fully charged.

2.4.3 Data preservation and storage times
The data on the memory card are written to an internal flash memory. An SD card can be written be-
tween 100,000 and 1,000,000 times depending on the storage used on the SD card.
Only SD cards with a storage volume up to 4 GB may be used in the 11-R.
Even with a 6-second measuring interval, the storage time is several months.
Further information:
The memory card should only be changed in standby mode, otherwise a loss of data
may occur
If the memory card has not been inserted and you want to start a measurement, the
device has to be returned to standby mode by pressing the “Standby” button
before the memory card is inserted.
The memory card can be read using a PC with card reader function or an external SD card
reader.
Reading or erasing the memory card with the Mini-LAS 11-R is not possible.
