(HyperTerminal). Create a new connection. Take
HyperTerminal in Windows 2000 as an example. As
shown in
Figure 3-2, enter the name of the new
connection in the [Name] text box, and then click
<Apply>.

2) Select a serial port. As shown in
Figure 3-3, select the
serial port that you want to use from the [Connect
using] drop-down list (make sure that the selected
serial port is the same port that the console cable is
actually connected to), and click <Apply>.
