TWIN Air System
General Info
With TWIN air assistance, energy is added to the spray droplets to
improve control of the spray liquid.
The main purpose of the TWIN air system is to counteract for the
negative influence that wind direction and driving speed have on the
quality of the spray job.
Technique
A. Air bag with compressed air from a blower. The air stream is led out
of the air bag near the spray nozzles through an air channel.
B. Angle of air stream.
C. Angle of spray liquid.
By using the air assistance while spraying and by varying the angle of air depending on wind and driving speed, the TWIN
air system makes it possible to:
• bring the spray droplets safely to the target and increase the plant deposit.
• minimize off-target deposit due to wind drift or loss on the ground.
• open the crop and obtain good penetration, even with a low application rate.
• ensure a high crop coverage.
