A user name cannot contain any of the following characters: / \ : * ? “ < > |. And the length of the
password cannot be less than 8 characters.
For your privacy, we strongly recommend changing the password to something of your own choosing
(using a minimum of 8 characters, including upper case letters, lower case letters, numbers, and special
characters) in order to increase the security of your product.
Proper configuration of all passwords and other security settings is the responsibility of the installer
and/or end-user.
Managing the User
Purpose:
After created successfully, the user account is added to the user list on the Account Management page. You can
edit or delete the information of the user accounts.
To edit the information of the user, select the user from the list, and click Modify.
To delete the information of the user, select the user from the list, and click Delete.
Note: The super user cannot be deleted and its permission cannot be modified.
7.6.3 Auto Backup Settings
Purpose:
You can set to enable the auto backup function to back up the client database automatically such as person,
attendance data, permission data, etc.
Steps:
1. Click System -> Auto Backup to open the Auto Backup window as follows.
2. Check the Enable checkbox to enable the Auto Backup function.
3. Click to set the path for saving the backed file.
4. Set the date and time for backing up the database.
5. Click OK to save the settings.
7.6.4 System Configuration
Purpose:
The general parameters, card reader, fingerprint machine, and storage server can be configured.
