Measurement
Before using the instrument the first time, verify that it
operates normally to ensure that the no damage occurred
during storage or shipping. If you find any damage, con-
tact your dealer or Hioki representative.
Inspection
Operation Check
If the operation check reveals any abnormalities, stop the
check immediately and do not use the instrument.
Required equipment:
• Model 3802-50 (this instrument)
• Model 3851-10 TEST LEAD
• AC power receptacle
(100 V AC 50/60Hz commercial power supply)
1. Set the function switch to "Ω".
2. Press the SHIFT key to conduct the continuity check.

• Is the battery indicator ( ) lit?
→If it is lit, replace the battery.
