Maintenance and Service
When this instrument has been in extended storage (for
more than one year), the instrument will not be able to
meet its specifications. Be sure to have the instrument
calibrated before using it.

6.1 Troubleshooting
If damage is suspected, check the "Troubleshooting"
section before contacting your dealer or Hioki repre-
sentative.
Calibration and repair of this instrument should be per-
formed only under the supervision of qualified techni-
cians knowledgeable about the dangers involved.
When transporting the instrument, pack the instrument
so that it will not sustain damage during shipping, and
include a description of existing damage. We cannot
accept responsibility for damage incurred during ship-
ping.
Never modify the instrument. Only Hioki service engi-
neers should disassemble or repair the instrument.
Failure to observe these precautions may result in fire,
electric shock, or injury.
If the protective functions of the instrument are dam-
aged, either remove it from service or mark it clearly so
that others do not use it inadvertently.
