Problem with Picking Up Circuit for Protection in Outdoor Unit
• Thealarmcodeisashedonthe7-segmentdisplayoftheoutdoorunit.
• The alarm code is displayed on the wired controller of the indoor unit.
This alarm code is displayed when the outdoor unit PCB detects that the protection device (PSH) is activated.

Faulty Outdoor Unit PCB or driver board (4-6HP)
Check the boards in self-
checking mode
Replace the malfunction board
if faulty
Check the compressor top
temperature
Wait until top compressor temperature
decreases before switch unit On again.
If problem persists there is refrigerant
leakage.
Compressor thermostat
is activated
Compressor top temperature is still high
regardless compressor is OFF
Check the compressor thermostat
is correctly connected in series
with PSH device
Solve connexion issue
Compressor thermostat is disconnected
? NOTE
This alarm code may be displayed at starting the operation when the high pressure switch (PSH) is connected incorrectly or fails (open
fault). The item for alarm code 02 should be checked as well.
