Adjusting track gauge
This procedure provides instructions on how to adjust the track gauge.
Danger: Risk of tractor falling down or tipping over
Adjusting track gauge is a hazardous procedure and must be executed as outlined. Failure to
comply can result in serious or fatal injuries, and damage to the tractor.
Before adjusting the track gauge:
1. Ensure that the tractor is parked only on level ground.
2. Ensure that the parking brake is engaged.
3. Dismount all attachments if applicable.
4. Ensure that the permissible load capacity of the jack does not exceed 2700 kg / 6000 lb., half the
weight of the tractor.
To adjust the track gauge:
You can increase the track gauge of the tractor by inserting spacers. There are three different spacers.
Note: If directional tires are installed, ensure that direction arrows point in the forward
rotating direction. At all wheels and axes, the same interim pieces must be installed to achieve
the same track width (not a note?)
1. Remove all four wheels. See Replacing wheel procedure for instructions on how to remove a
wheel.
2. Reverse the wheels from inside to outside or use the selected spacers.
3. Tighten the wheel nuts with 340 Nm / 250 ft-lb.
