l While driving on a slope, ensure that the center of gravity does not exceed the tipping limit.
Lower center of gravity reduces the risk of tipping over.
l Ensure proper tire pressure and track width depending on the load.
Risk of being entangled with moving parts
Danger: Failure to comply with the following guidelines could result in serious or fatal
injuries, and damage to the tractor.
To avoid being entangled with moving parts of the tractor (Danger area picture):
l When the tractor is operating, keep clear from the center articulated area.
l Install and remove PTO shafts only when the engine is off.
l Do not allow anyone near the attachment zone when the PTO is engaged.
l Mount PTO guard chains as specified in the corresponding documentation.
l When the PTO is not in use, cover the tractor PTO drive shaft with a protective cap.
l Avoid wearing loose clothing or dangling jewelry.
l Wear proper headgear for long hair or braids.
Risk of fire or explosion
Danger: Failure to comply with the following guidelines could result in serious or fatal
injuries, and damage to the tractor.
To avoid fire or explosion:
l Do not smoke or light an open fire while handling fluids and lubricants.
l Keep the tractor and attachments clean, free of dirt, salt, and traces of fluid or lubricant leaks.
l Keep flammable materials far away from the exhaust system. Exhaust emissions can be extremely
hot.
l Never use the tractor in hazardous environments or near flammable vapors.
l If working near fuel or gas sources, follow the rules and regulations applicable in your area.
Risk of electric shock
Warning: Failure to comply with the following guidelines could result in serious or fatal
injuries, and damage to the tractor.
To avoid an electric shock:
l Disconnect the battery with the battery disconnect switch, the red key, before any work on the
electrical system.
l Always maintain a safety distance between the tractor and overhead power lines according to the
following table.
