To open the roof hatch:
1. Grasp the handle on the roof hatch.
2. Press and hold the button on the side of the handle.
3. Push the handle up. The roof hatch opens gradually.
Using roof hatch as emergency exit
This procedure provides instructions on how to use the roof hatch in case of emergency.
To use the roof hatch as an emergency exit:
1. Open the roof hatch.
2. Pull out the inner plastic clip.
3. Pull the outer plastic clip. The roof hatch swings away.
Towing C992
This procedure provides instructions on how to tow the C992 tractor.
Warning: Failure to comply with the procedure could result in serious or fatal injuries, and
damage to the tractor and environment.
Caution:
l Do not tow the tractor for long distances. It may damage hydrostatic drive system.
l Do not tow the tractor with open roof hatch. It may damage the roof.
l While being towed, watch closely your C992 and surrounding area to avoid any damage
or injuries.
Before towing the C992 tractor:
1. The operator of the C992 tractor must ensure that the towing vehicle has sufficient traction and
braking force with respect to the gross weight and towed load of the C992 tractor, which is going
to be towed.
Note: The gross weight of the tractor is 2638 kg / 5816 lb. or 2790 kg / 6151 lb., depending
on tires.
To tow the C992 tractor:
1. Turn on the ignition.
2. Disengage the parking brake. Follow Engaging/disengaging parking brake procedure.
