Detaching an attachment
This procedure provides instructions on how to detach an attachment.
To detach an attachment:
Danger: Risk of accident from improper dismounting of attachments
In case of improper decoupling (detachment), the attachment can tip, roll off or fall to the ground.
Secure the attachment against tipping and roll-off before detaching. If you disregard these guidelines,
there is a possibility of severe or fatal injuries.
1. Switch off any PTO shaft that may have been switched on.
2. Drive attachment to parking place and lower with the rear or front lift.
3. Secure the tractor against roll-off.
4. Shut off engine, do not switch off ignition.
5. Actuate all switches of the hydraulic connections in use and of the lift several times. This reduces
the pressure in the hydraulic system and the hydraulics.
6. Push back the outer rings of the hydraulic couplings (1) and pull off the hoses (2). Protect
removed plug coupling from contamination.
7. Fold the protective caps of the hydraulic couplings (as at position 4) closed.
8. Remove the cardan shaft from the tractor's PTO shaft.
9. Cover the tractor's PTO shaft with the protective cap.
10. Remove the top link from the top link slide on the tractor.
11. Pull up the quick-detach couplings (3): The pins for the attachment will come free.
12. Lower the lift and drive carefully away.
Safety notes for operating hydraulic devices and attachments
Danger of poisoning
Risk of fire from hot exhaust system.
Risk of slipping
Warning against improper use of the tractor
Caution with leaking fluids and lubricants!
General warnings for operating the hydraulic floating position
Danger: Risk of accident from improper usage of the tractor
Never stand underneath attachments or tipping systems. When the floating position is switched on, a
lifted implement falls quickly or slowly to the ground, depending on the weight. If you disregard these
guidelines, there is a possibility of severe or fatal injuries.
