3. Routine Inspection before Every Shift

12. Set all switches to their default positions.
13. If you detect any non-functional lights, refer to Troubleshooting chapter. Otherwise, continue
this routine inspection and go to the next routine procedure.
5. Checking windscreen washer system
This routine procedure verifies that the windscreen washer system function properly, and the
windscreen washer fluid reservoir contains appropriate amount of washer fluid.
Before checking the windscreen washer system:
1. Ensure that the ignition key is on, but the engine is off.
To check the windscreen washer system:
Caution: Lack of washer fluid may reduce an operator's visibility and lead to a hazardous
situation while driving.
1. Inspect the amount of washer fluid in the windscreen washer fluid reservoir. The reservoir is
located inside the cab, on the left front side in the radio console.
2. If needed, add windscreen washer fluid into the reservoir. The volume of the reservoir is
approximately 1.3 L / 1.3 qt.
Caution: Use appropriate to your region washer fluid to avoid windscreen freezing or
fogging.
3. If the tractor has two multifunction levers, skip step 5 and go to step 6.
4. If the tractor has one multifunction lever, press and hold the ring button located on the tip of the
multifunction lever to spray the washer fluid onto the windscreen and activate the wiper.
5. Turn the rotary switch on the multifunction lever to test the wiper in slow, continuous, and
intermittent modes.
6. If the tractor has two multifunction levers, (?)
7. Refer to Troubleshooting chapter if any of the following is present:
l Windscreen washer pump does not mist.
l Wipers do not function.
l Windscreen is not clear.
l Horn does not function.
Otherwise, continue the routine inspection and go to the next routine procedure.
6. Checking horn and reverse alarm
This routine procedure verifies that the horn and reverse alarm function properly.
