3. Routine Inspection before Every Shift

Before checking the horn and reverse alarm:
1. Ensure that the ignition key is on, but the engine is off.
To check the horn and reverse alarm:
1. Press the horn button at the end of the multifunction lever. The alarm will sound.
2. Set the program switch to 1.
3. Set the drive direction switch to reverse. Ensure that alarm sounds.
4. If you detect any faults or non-compliance, refer to Troubleshooting chapter. Otherwise, continue
the routine inspection and go to the next routine procedure.
7. Checking pedals and steering
This routine procedure verifies that steering and the tractor pedals function properly.
Before checking the pedals and steering:
1. Ensure that the ignition key is on, but the engine is off.
To check the pedals and steering:
1. Move the steering wheel side to side 3-4 times and ensure that it is not excessively loose. The
steering must feel tight.
2. Press the brake pedal and feel its resistance.
3. Release the brake pedal and ensure that it comes back automatically to its default position.
Note: The brake is a 4-wheel wet-disc, which is hydraulically actuated by applying pressure
to the brake pedal.
4. Press the throttle pedal and feel its resistance.
5. Release the throttle pedal and ensure that it comes back automatically to its default position.
6. Push the inch pedal all the way down to the floor. Ensure that it moves freely without any
resistance.
7. Release the inch pedal and ensure that it comes back automatically to its default position.
8. If any of the pedals does not function properly, refer to Troubleshooting chapter. Otherwise,
continue the routine inspection and go to the next routine procedure.
8. Checking level of hydraulic oil
This routine procedure verifies that the tractor has the appropriate amount of hydraulic oil.
Before checking the level of hydraulic oil:
1. Ensure that the ignition key is on, but the engine is off.
