9. Getting ready to work with attachments
77
Without electrohydraulic implement relief, the attached implement rests with its entire weight on the
ground in floating position. With electrohydraulic implement relief*, it is possible to transfer part of the
attached implement weight to the carrier tractor. This results in the following advantages:
Improvement of traction
Better steering and tracking of the tractor
Less wear and tear, e.g. on the scraping blades of a snowplough
Lower thrust forces together with reduced fuel consumption
Improved stability on an incline
Procedure
ADVICE
After 3 seconds without any button being pushed at the display, the input values are saved and the
display will reset.
The display (1) will show the current pressure of the implement relief.
The value S.P.1 always has to be less than the pressure of the lifted attachment without implement relief.
1. Push button (24) on the foil keyboard. LED in button (24) lights up.
2. Push the button (3) "Mode". "S.P.1." appears in the display; the current value flashes after 2 seconds.
3. Use the button (4) to reduce the current value.
4. Use the button (2) to increase the current value.
The smaller the difference between S.P.1 and the lifted attachment device without implement relief, the
less weight is transferred to the carrier tractor.

Adjusting control sensitivity (hysteresis)
This procedure provides instructions on how to adjust control sensitivity. Higher value of HYS1
provide smoother implement relief. The smaller the value of HYS1, the more sensitively will the
implement relief work.
To adjust control sensitivity:
The pre-applied gas pressure in the membrane accumulator is 30 bar (psi?)
