9. Getting ready to work with attachments

l Do not turn the top links too far apart from one another.
l Ensure that threads are uniformly screwed into the spindle with at least five thread
courses.
l Check the thread length before attaching implements.
1. Lift the height adjustment lever.
2. Shift the guide block into one of the four possible positions. The height to be adjusted depends on
your attachment.
3. Release the height adjustment lever. The top link slide block will engage.
4. Pull the locking spring out of the top link pin and pull the pin out laterally.
5. Adjust the top link to the suitable length by turning the sleeve in or out. Secure the top link with
the locking lever.
6. Push the eye on the top link through the top link pin and again secure the top link pin with the
locking spring.
Coupling an attachment
This procedure provides instructions on how to couple an attachment.
To couple an attachment:
1. Drive the tractor to an attachment.
2. Steer the catch hooks under the support pins of the attachment.
3. Raise the front or rear lift, but only until the catch hooks reach the support pins of the attachment.
4. Adjust the top link to the suitable length and secure the top link.
5. Create the connection between attachment and tractor with the top link.
6. Carefully raise the front or rear lift until the quick-detach couplings close and lock.
Connecting/disconnecting hydraulic lines
This procedure provides instructions on how to connect/disconnect hydraulic lines between the tractor
and an attachment.
Before connecting hydraulic lines:
1. Ensure that you are well aware of all the information outlined in the manual for the attachment
that corresponds to connecting hydraulic lines.
2. Inform yourself about the functions and color markings.
3. Float pressure from hydraulic couplings.
4. Clean couplings on the tractor and on the hydraulic lines.
