Troubleshoot the Connection
If you receive an “Invalid COM number” error message while connecting to the
printer with the Configuration Utility, follow this procedure to create a new
Bluetooth connection and resolve the error.
1 On the PC, open Bluetooth Settings and select the COM Ports tab.
2 Select the 6824 printer line.
3 Select Remove.
4 Select Add to create a new virtual COM port connection to the printer.
5 Repeat the procedure for connecting the printer with the new virtual COM
port.

This section describes general settings for the printer. To view these settings, in
the Printer Configuration Utility click the General Settings tab.
